Mt. Fuji (Frung Fring Adventures) – 1st Day of Kanto Pass Tour

Untitled-1

Onegaizamasu!

Well, through out the trip I always say Onegaizamasu. I think its my way of saying thank you, please, excitement, happy, good morning, good evening, good afternoon and many more expression in nihonggo. But Onegaizamasu true meaning is “Please”.

Kinda weird? haha. I just love giving new meaning to words.

Onegaizamasu Guys.

August 13, 2014

A day before, Pong-san invited us to come with them to have a Kanto Pass Tour in Mt.Fuji Area. She said that we needed to avail tickets to travel service in Yokohoma for the long weekend this August 13-15. So after work in Toshiba , we immediately bought the ticket. It cost us 8300 Yen.

Kanto Pass Tour is only available for Foreigners. And the tickets should be buy personally in Travel Service Stations in Japan. All you need to do is to show your passport and to prepare 8300 Yen to avail the ticket.

Pong-san is our new found friend. She is an internship student and a model from Thailand. haha peace.

Itinerary Created by May (Dora Explorer):

6:30 to 7:25 – Kawasaki Station to Tachikawa Station

7:55 to 8:20 – Depart form Takachikawa Station going to Otsuki Station

8:30 to 9:30 – Depart from Otsuki Station going to Shimo Station

9:30 to 10:30 – Mt. Fuji View Point

11:00 – Arrived at Kawaguchi Station

12:00 – Eat Lunch

13:00 to 15:30 –  Music Forest

16:00 to 19:00 – Mt. Fuji 5th Station

19:30: Departure from Kawaguchi Station (anything goes from here)

But Luckily, naabutan namin ung 6:30am na Train papunta Tachikawa hehe.

7:20am ng dumating kami sa Tachikawa Station. Doon na namin nakilala si May, Phum and Bee (sounds like a Bee). haha Pag kakita namin sa kanila, parang nahiya kami kasi naka pang Hiking kami nila JK at Roel.

Nathan: I thought we are going to Hike Mt. Fuji. Why your dress look like an attire going to mall

Pong: No, we don’t. We will just ride a Bus to Mt. Fuji 5th Station.

Nathan: Haha. Our outfit is for Hiking. We didn’t expect to be this way.. You should have told us yesterday.

Pong: I told you. haha It’s Ok. We’ll ride a Bus and then you walk and Hike to Mt. Fuji. It will be fun. haha

DSCN0077

At eto pa, wala man lang akong nakitang squater sa tabi ng riles ng tren throughout the trip. Astig! Habang Papunta kami ng Otsuki Station, nagkaroon kami makapag usap usap nila Bee, Pum and May.

Bee is 3rd year student taking Industrial Engineering. While Pum and May is taking Computer Engineering. And all of them are 1 month internship at Toshiba.

We arrived at Otsuki station at 8:30am. Then, we ride a train going to Shimoyoshida Station.

We arrived at Shimoyoshida Station around 9:30am. We don’t have a lot of time allotted in this place so we walk fast to immediately reach our destination – The Mt. Fuji Viewing Park.

??????????

Tinawag ko nga siyang Dora the Explorer. Kaya kami ay sumunod lang sa kanya all throughout and She never disappointed us.

Nathan: Where are we going?

Everybody: In Mt. Fuji!

After 15 minutes of walking, we finally arrived at this Place. This is the start of the trekking. haha Sakto talaga at nakapang Hiking ako. Nice.

Fuji at ang sabi nya “No it’s not. You can just view Mt. Fuji here from afar. But don’t worry we will also go to Mt. Fuji later.”

DSCN0088

As we go up, The views keep on becoming more and more beautiful. It was like we traveled back in time and we felt a bit of Japanese era. It was great indeed.

DSCN0099

DSCN0097

This was one of the Land Mark in Fuji Area. You will always see this kind of scenery in Posters and Post Cards. So I suggest to visit this place. However, in this picture the Mt.Fuji was engulfed by the Clouds so it was not so visible after all.

DSCN0134

We continue our Hike toward to the summit. Pong, doesn’t want to continue because she was wearing a High heels haha and I just laughed while saying “You should wear more rugged shoes today rather than High Heels. It will be hard for you to climb the stairs with that kind of Outfit. Then she replied “It’s Okay. I’m comfortable with High Heels but I do not expect to be this kind of long walks.”

Haha nakabawi din ako ng Tawa. Kasi kanina Tinawanan nya rin ako dahil naka Hiking outfit ako. Mabilis lang ang karma.

DSCN0112

But if you have time, puntahan nyo na rin ung  tuktok para mas makita nyo ang ganda ng Mt. Fuji. And I assure you that it was very beautiful.

DSCN0142

During our way down, nadaanan namin ung Mini Shrine na to. Siguro pede ka mag pray and wish dito.

DSCN0155

Here’s Me-anne trying  to gargle a cold water in this fountain. It’s too bad that you can’t drink it but the water here gives you a refreshing aura after a long walk of travel.

DSCN0156

Then we continue our way down going to Shimoyashida Station.

DSCN0150

We take an 11am train schedule  going to Kawaguchiko Station.

It’s almost 12pm when we arrived at Kawaguchiko so we go to the information service center to ask where we can find a place to eat. Then the crew point to this authentic restaurant.

DSCN0162

We ordered some Hoto noodles.

But the noodles’ taste is great. It’s not an ordinary noodles I think because it is thicker and tastier compare to other noodles that I’v eaten.

We ate and ate until our stomach is fully recharge. Unfortunately, we can’t eat all of those noodles so I dare Pong to eat it. It’s a dare and I told her that if she can eat those bowl of noodles I will treat her anything she wants. But she backs out in the end.. haha.

Kala ko talaga tatanggapin nya, sobrang dami pa talaga nong natira namin.
DSCN0169

After our lunch, we ride a bus going to Music Forest. It’s our next destination.
DSCN0170

Dumadaan kasi sya habang nagkukuwa kami ng Pictures then she suddenly make a great pose.

Astig Lang. Sabi nga When the plan failed, 100% sure that there’s a great things that will come.

DSCN0180

Here’s the entrance of Kawaguchiko Music Forest. Sa wakas, We arrived in our destination.

May Student  discount kaya bring your ID if your a student.

We never expected na Mala Palasyo ung Theme sa Loob. hehe Para bang naging Prince and Princess ang feelings namin.

DSCN0203

It was really nice to see those antique instruments. If it’s still working, I will be more grateful because the music that it will produce is like the Laughter, Sadness, Hope and Love of the Japanese ancestors.

DSCN0212

DSCN0220

Inside the Mini Castle, There’s a mini Ball where the Prince and Princess were dancing. There were also colorful lights inside that matches the dance of the dolls. I think it was a 5 mins presentation and it was awesome.

DSCN0241

DSCN0240

Pa-alis na sana kami ng biglang humarang ung isang Japanese Crew at sinabing “The Musical Show will start 5 minutes from now. Hope you can watch it.”. She pointed out where’s the room and we went there and check it out.

Then na preserved nila yun for a thousand of years.

Kasi mas maganda sanang maintindihan ng mga Tourist ung culture nila in more clear way.

DSCN0245

After that ay nagpunta kami sa Omiyage House (Souvenir’s Shop). Marami kang mabibili like chocolates and other Cute Stuff.

DSCN0251

Hehe. I feel the Royal Romance here. Astig!

DSCN0257

Before kami umalis sa Music Forest, Biglang nag play ung Water Orchestra. It was a great Show. I think it’s much lively during night time because the color’s of the water is not so visible during the day.

DSCN0267

Then We departed at Musical Forest to go to Mt. Fuji.

It’s a Dream Come true. And We almost there. As a Hiker, It’s a once in a lifetime experience to be on the top of the one World Heritage Place in Japan – MT. FUJI.

DSCN0283 We take again a bus going to Kawaguchicko Station. From there, we buy a ticket going to Mt. Fuji 5th Station. The regular fare is 2100 Yen (One Way) but we avail a promo of 2400 Yen for two way Tickets.

DSCN0289

We arrived at Mt. Fuji 5th Station around 5:30pm.

Fuji. Thank God for a wonderful weather that you’ve given to us this day.

At nakatungtong sa Mt. Fuji Lands.

May Hiker nga pala kaming naka sabay sa Bus.Aakyat daw sila tonight sa Mt. Fuji para masaksihan ang Bukang liwayway. At dahil curious ako, tinanong ko kung gaano katagal ung akyat from Mt. Fuji 5th Station to the Summit. He said that it will take you 3 to 4 hours depending the pace of your ascend.

Mabilis magpalit ng klima sa matataas na bundok  Kaya it’s better na magdala ng Jacket or raincoat if you want to hike Mt. Fuji.

DSCN0294

Syempre pag kababa hindi namin pinalagpas ang pagpapa-picture with Mt. Fuji as our background.

DSCN0297

Sa 5th Station, marami kayo makikita na mga bilihin like chocolates(looks like Mt. Fuji) and Hiking equipments. Eto ung parang Mall dito.

DSCN0307

We did takes alot of pictures here. haha Sobrang Ganda talaga ng view. Habang tinitingnan ko ung views from our stand point, Sinugurado kong i-engrave lahat ng memories from there. Sabi nga Pag first time mong makapunta sa isang Bundok, It will be the most exciting one. Kahit pa sabihin hindi ko naakyat yung summit but the feeling that I’m standing 2300 meters above the sea water level gives me chills into my bones.

DSCN0328

DSCN0332

1.  This toll read is subject to be impassable when a heavy rain or a strong wind.

2. Anyone or any car cannot stay here except passable hours

3.  No litter here.

DSCN0345

Here’s a monument that tells how a hiker should climb Mt Fuji. haha But I’m not sure because I never know the meaning of the letters engraved  in the stone.

DSCN0346

Kelangan ng Evidence kaya Here’s some of our Photo from Mt. Fuji Station.

??????????

We tend to be an action stars Here. haha Epic lang nong Pictures. By the way, Kudos sa Bags and Payong na ginamit namin, They really help us taking this selfie group pictures.

DSCN0405

There’s also some Binoculars available but we did not tried to use it because the view below is very cloudy. It will cost you 100 yen to use it.

DSCN0413

Then we wrapped up  this adventure while looking to the Sunset here in Mt. Fuji.

It was really a great experience to be having this kind of adventures. First, I would like to thank God for letting us meet Pong, May, Pum and Bee here in Japan. This will not be possible without their guides. I also want to thank  the people we’ve met along this journey. And the weather is great.

Guys, ulitin natin ang adventures na to. Alam kong marami pa tayong plans on exploring the beauties of Japan Tourism at sana mas maging mas masaya at memorable pa ung mga travels natin

Sunset is a symbol of Goodbyes. But while I’m Looking at the sun sleeps to the night, It gives me a realization that Life is all about moving and enjoying every sunset and looking forward to the next sunrise.
